01

01 / WAZUKA

A place with a tea memory.

Wazuka is a renowned tea-growing region in Kyoto Prefecture. Its landscape of rolling tea fields gives Ginzo its starting point: a clearly defined place, rather than an anonymous blend of origins.

02
Vibrant green Ginzo matcha powder

02 / SAMIDORI

One cultivar.
Nothing anonymous.

Samidori is prized for the qualities matcha drinkers look for: a rounded umami character, gentle sweetness and luminous green colour. By choosing one cultivar, Ginzo lets its character speak clearly.

03

03 / TENCHA

Before powder,
there is tencha.

In traditional matcha craft, tea plants are shaded before harvest. The leaves are then steamed and carefully dried into tencha—the leaf material made specifically to become matcha.

STONE · TIME · TEXTURE

04 / STONE-MILLED

Milled slowly.
Made to be whisked.

Ginzo's tencha is stone-milled into an exceptionally fine powder. The process creates the soft texture that allows matcha to suspend in water and become smooth and creamy when whisked.
